Live at Oktoberfest

Behind the film.

For Quinn Sullivan’s full live set at Oktoberfest New Bedford, I paired a handheld camera with a second, static camera. Stage access made it possible to move between wider coverage and close, intimate views of the performance.

The direction stayed dark and simple, in keeping with Quinn’s older audience, while the handheld camera brought a more immediate feeling to the stage. I directed, shot, edited, and colored the concert film.
